Measuring Economic Progress - GDP? or something else.
Article from the Guardian about how GDP is not the necessarily the best measure of how an economy is doing. The article suggests some other options though I am not sure if these would necessarily present a better picture of how the economy is doing. Notice that they do not refer to the HDI (Human Development Index) which was specifically developed to provide a better measure than GDP.
